New, innovative exhibition areas highlight current topics

For the first time, SHK ESSEN will take place at the completely modernised Essen trade fair centre, which offers space for numerous new theme islands such as the "Company Mobility" exhibition area, the "SHK Education Campus", the "Drinking Water Meeting Point", a start-up area and the topic "Hydrogen Practice in Dialogue".

SHK ESSEN has repositioned itself for the 2020 edition. In addition to an extensive supporting programme with trade fair tours, lecture series and forums, new exhibition areas have also been created. Visitors can thus obtain targeted and concentrated information on current industry topics and engage in discussions with experts. The individual theme islands will be presented in cooperation with leading industry organisations.

In cooperation with figawa, SHK ESSEN will be presenting the forum "Meeting Point Drinking Water" in Hall 5 for the first time. The focus will be on the latest developments and trends in the water and waste water industry, in particular quality and safety standards, the professional execution of well construction work as well as market developments and changes in the political framework.

What will mobility look like in the future? Crafts enterprises, in particular, are confronted with this question; after all, the routes to the customer or wholesaler have to be covered, materials and tools transported. The new exhibition area "Company Mobility" in the Galeria provides answers.

Also in the Galeria visitors will find the special show "Hydrogen Practice in Dialogue". Hydrogen is regarded as an energy carrier with enormous potential for the energy revolution.
