SHK ESSEN starts on 10 March with BeNeLux and France Day

SHK ESSEN is centrally located in the largest conurbation in Europe. Therefore, interested and investment-ready trade visitors from neighbouring countries are also among the fair guests. A visit to the fair is particularly worthwhile for them on Tuesday, 10 March 2020, when the BeNeLux and France Day will take place. Exhibitors and visitors are invited to engage in cross-border discussions and exchange professional information. The highlight of the supporting programme is the new "Forum Smart Home" of the German-Dutch Chamber of Commerce (DNHK).

SHK ESSEN is the first industry event of the year and the meeting place for SHK professionals from the trades, installation, planning and consulting. Over 500 exhibitors from more than 15 countries present market-ready innovations and new products from the fields of sanitation, heating, air-conditioning and digital building management. On BeNeLux and France Day, the exhibiting companies will provide information for visitors in the respective national language and will also be employing multilingual staff at their stands on this day.

New: German-Dutch forum on the topic of smart home
For the first time, the DNHK is organising the "Smart Home Forum" at SHK ESSEN in cooperation with Messe Essen. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., industry experts and entrepreneurs from Germany and the Netherlands will discuss trends and opportunities in the field of Smart Home & Building in Hall 7. The forum will show the special developments in Germany and the Netherlands and provide insights into the resulting business opportunities. Among other things, the focus will be on smart heating and energy systems.

Excellent supporting programme accompanies the SHK ESSEN
Whether digitalisation in the craft trades or climate protection in practice - SHK ESSEN provides information on topics that move the industry beyond national borders. Expert forums highlight the latest developments in home ventilation and drinking water hygiene and show areas of application for hydrogen in the SHK sector. In the area of "Company Mobility", handicraft businesses receive information and advice on fleet management and employee mobility. Guided tours present innovations in the field of sanitary and heating technology as well as new products for modern bathroom design.
