Advisory Board for Fair Met up in Town Hall in Essen for Preparations and Preview
The tenor of the most recent meeting of the Advisory Board for SHK ESSEN was unambiguous: The trade fair for sanitation, heating, air conditioning and renewable energies is right on track. For the coming period from March 6 to 9, Messe Essen is once more reporting more exhibitors than in the past year. Moreover, the exhibition area has been enlarged slightly. With this good news, representatives of Messe Essen received the members of the Advisory Board in the Town Hall in Essen on October 12. Lord Mayor Thomas Kufen also greeted the participants and was pleased about the good intermediate assessment of the trade fair in Essen which is rich in tradition and has the North-Rhine Westphalia Trade Association for Sanitation, Heating and Air Conditioning as its ideal sponsor.
At the beginning of the meeting, Andreas Lücke, CEO of the Federation of German Heating Industry and Chairman of the Advisory Board for SHK ESSEN, welcomed the new members of the body: In the future, Karl-Heinz Hottgenroth (Hottgenroth/ETU Software), Falk Hülkenberg (Rothenberger Deutschland), Dirk Lückemann (Schell), Jörg Pietsch (Grünbeck Wasseraufbereitung), Jan Matthes (Kampmann) and Georg Rump (Oventrop) will support the trade fair with their expertise. After the marketing of the exhibition area, the critical phase in visitor marketing is beginning now. The portents are good here, too: SHK ESSEN will unite nearly all the market leaders in the sanitation and heating sectors and, in the coming year, will be the first event at which the sector will present its innovations.
New Face and New Sequence of Days in 2018
On the occasion of SHK ESSEN, the new face of Messe Essen will await the visitors: the glass foyer which will cover an area of 2,000 square metres and will be equipped with a distinctive canopy at the East entrance. Moreover, the Northern half of the new Hall 6 will be available and the modernisation of Messe Essen will be concluded before SHK 2020. Important: From now on, the fair will open from Tuesday to Friday instead of from Wednesday to Saturday.
