SHK ESSEN 2018 with New Sequence of Days

SHK ESSEN 2018 with New Sequence of Days

Concurring Vote of Exhibitors and Trade Visitors

The Advisory Board for the SHK ESSEN Fair has made a unanimous decision: From 2018, the trade fair for sanitation, heating, air conditioning and renewable energies will take place from Tuesday to Friday. The next dates will be from Tuesday, March 6 to Friday, March 9, 2018.

"We are very pleased about the sector's strong commitment to SHK ESSEN," according to Oliver P. Kuhrt, CEO of Messe Essen. "The large number of replies have shown us that the exhibitors and the trade visitors are clearly declaring themselves in favour of a sequence of days during the week. We are happy to fulfil this wish." The new period of the event will spread out the density of the activities at SHK ESSEN on the working days. The optimised running time will accommodate the trade visitors and the exhibitors with regard to their scheduling. Friday as the last day of the fair will facilitate the transport runs, above all, for foreign exhibitors, too. The Advisory Board for the SHK ESSEN Fair includes representatives of the North Rhine-Westphalia Trade Association for Sanitation, Heating and Air Conditioning, the Federation of German Heating Industry, the Industry Forum for Sanitation, the German Engineering Federation as well as other exhibitor and visitor groups.

About SHK ESSEN

SHK ESSEN is the national trade fair for the sanitation, heating, air conditioning and renewable energies sectors with the highest number of visitors. With the ideal sponsorship of the North Rhine-Westphalia Trade Association for Sanitation, Heating and Air Conditioning, it is the first trade fair in even years and marks the start for the presentation of market-ready innovations in the sector.

Because of the central location of SHK ESSEN in the biggest conurbation in Europe, exhibitors reach qualified trade visitors not only from large parts of Germany but also from the willing-to-invest Benelux region. In 2016, SHK ESSEN attracted 556 exhibitors from 18 nations and around 48,500 trade visitors.
