The Planning Forum at SHK ESSEN is well-known for its compact lectures on topical subjects in the sector. Every day from 10.30 a.m. to 12.00 noon and from 2.00 p.m. to 3.30 p.m., renowned speakers will address, above all, skilled tradesmen, planners and architects.
On the adjacent booth of the trade association, the experts will be available for discussions.
itself as the meeting place for everything to do with the subjects of training and careers in the skilled SHK trades. From Wednesday to Friday, registered pupils and trainees will be able to take part in various knowledge rallies across the fair site.
Entertainment will also be provided in the TRAINEES Lounge: Supervised by the Essen Guild, assembly competitions to become an "Installation Mechanic for SHK" will take place on exercise walls in the morning and in the afternoon.
SHK ESSEN is located in the centre of the largest conurbation in Europe. Therefore, the guests at the fair will also include interested and willing-to-invest trade visitors from the neighbouring foreign countries. The Netherlands and Belgium Day will be geared to them. This event day will invite both exhibitors and visitors to establish contacts extending across borders. A large number of companies will have information available in their respective national languages and, on this day, will also deploy multilingual personnel on their booths in a targeted way.
Within the framework of its manufacturer-neutral special show, the Federal Industrial Association of Germany for House, Energy and Environmental Technology (BDH) will provide information about the status quo of modern heating technology.
Attention will centre on highly efficient heating systems on the basis of gas, oil, electricity and renewable energies. In addition to already established technologies, the special show will also take account of topical trends in the heat market. One of the trend subjects will be called "Heating & IT", i.e. controlling the heating using mobile terminal devices. And the subject of CHP technology on the basis of the fuel cell will be addressed, too.
