The supply of drinking water of impeccable quality to consumers is the result of the use of high-quality products and innovative services. Due to increased customer awareness on the one hand and increasingly challenging conditions on the other, these products and services have to meet constantly growing requirements. Climate change does not stop at the drinking water installation: in many places the cold drinking water is no longer cold even in the distribution systems. A direct consequence of this is that the danger of the inadmissibly high proliferation of Legionella can now also occur increasingly in cold water. Possible approaches could, for example, include smart technologies that improve the monitoring of drinking water.
But also questions such as energy efficiency can be solved by innovative approaches and intelligent products. SHK ESSEN and figawa as a technical-scientific association see it as an important task to communicate these topics in a factual and informative way to a larger specialist audience. The generous stand concept of the new forum DRINKING WATER from Tuesday, 10 March to Friday, 13 March 2020 offers space for interesting discussions and the opportunity to inform visitors with the help of lectures in the stand's own Speakers' Corner.
