Mobility Partnership Essen

Diesel driving bans, climate targets, national traffic turnaround: What will mobility of the future look like? Craft businesses in particular are confronted with this question. After all, the routes to the customer or wholesaler have to be covered and materials and tools transported.

In the new innovative exhibition area in the Galeria of the fair, the Mobility Partnership Essen will be represented for the first time this year with the thematic focus "Company Mobility" (Stand GA55). The partnership is committed to sustainable mobility and the improvement of air quality. To this end, information and advice on innovative products and solutions in the fields of vehicle fleet, mobility management, employee mobility, logistics and transport, photovoltaics and charging stations as well as services will be presented on the exhibition area. Specialist lectures and advisory stands of Electromobility NRW, EnergyAgency.NRW, the Future Network Mobility NRW / VRR, the advisory office Krahmann und Kollegen, the Ruhrbahn, the EU-ADFC Initiative of Bicycle-Friendly Employers, the Essen District Trades Association and the Düsseldorf Chamber of Trade will round off the programme at the stand.

Background: Mobility Partnership Essen
The mobility partnership is a joint initiative of the Chamber of Trade, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the District Craftsmen's Association and the City of Essen and the Essen Economic Development Agency. All Essen companies can join the partnership. They thus declare their willingness to make the mobility of their company more environmentally friendly. This is to have an effect on all areas of the company - from the employees' commuting to work and business trips to the company's own vehicle fleet and delivery traffic.
