Wavin GmbH is one of the pioneers and market leaders in the field of plastic pipe systems in Germany. The long-established company was founded in Twist (Emsland) in 1956 and today employs 500 people in the production facilities in Twist and Westeregeln (Saxony-Anhalt) as well as in a comprehensive field service network. In building technology, the skilled trades and planning offices trust in well-known brands such as the Tigris plumbingsystem or the sound insulation pipe systems Wavin AS or SiTech + (wastewater sector). In 2019, Wavin presented the first fitting with acoustic leak function in the form of Wavin Tigris K5 / M5. If an unpressed fitting is found in the pressure test with air, a loud whistle indicates this point and the fitting can then be pressed. Furthermore, the premium sound insulation system Wavin AS, which has been succesfully in the market for 30 years, will be replaced by Wavin AS + in 2020. New features that were developed together with our customers ensure even more security and speed.
